Professional Membership - RPEQ

The Queensland Professional Engineers Act 2002 requires that any professional engineering services be performed by a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or under the direct supervision of an RPEQ. The Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland (BPEQ) administers the Professional Engineers Act 2002 and the registration of professional engineers registered to practice in Queensland.

Orana Engineering values the purpose and role of the BPEQ, of which its stated objectives are to:

  • Protect the public by ensuring professional engineering services are provided by a registered professional engineer in a professional and competent way;
  • Maintain public confidence in the standard of services provided by registered professional engineers; and
  • Uphold the standards of practice of registered professional engineers.
